SafePulse: A Memory-Safe Rust Architecture for Deterministic Real-Time ECG Alerting with Optional LLM Enrichment

Abstract

A memory-safe Rust architecture for real-time ECG monitoring. The design keeps the alert path deterministic, and it separates the optional LLM enrichment from that path. Each device gets one SessionActor, which bounds the shared mutable state. The LLM interpretation runs asynchronously, so it does not change the alert latency.
